Have you ever stopped to think how technology has changed the modern classroom? Or how the needs of teachers have changed during the past few years? No doubt, due to changes in the world and society, school is now viewed differently, as technology has changed the standards for student achievement, and new approaches to teaching and learning. Depending on the type of school and location, tools used to encourage students to learn in different ways, have been altered through time. For starters, laptops and computers are much more common these days, as well as different programs and software that improve education and communication. Indubitably, technology is changing the way educators teach or how schools communicate with its community and if you doubt that for a second, you only need to look at Calvary Christian Academy the past nine years to see how technology has played a big part in the development of our school.
The Bigger Picture Last fall, as we entered a new school year, educators, students, parents and administrators had an opportunity to pause and marvel over all the wonderful things that God had done within our ministry. But as we stood there contemplating, He also gave us a glimpse of a bigger picture.
