Academics

We exist to make disciples through a biblical school environment that prepares students to glorify God spiritually, academically, and socially.

Calvary Christian Academy’s mission to make disciples and academic philosophy are ideal complements for a dynamic Christian education. Our teacher-ministers are dedicated to making disciples of Jesus Christ by consistently using the Word of God as the foundation for all truth and academic instruction. We seek to create nurturing, inspiring, and engaging classroom environments within a well- connected community that co-labors together toward our shared goal. Maintaining a right relationship with God through Jesus Christ and keeping in step with the Holy Spirit are essential to the Bible-centered education offered at CCA.

Academically the school believes that the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom and knowledge, with learning based on absolute truths found in the Word of God.  Students are exhorted to achieve their highest potential in their gifts and abilities in order to bring glory to God.

CCA students are continually encouraged to strive for their potential.

With the school’s motivation intent on producing successful students who realize their potential and purpose, special care is paid to the students’ progress.

Parental involvement is necessary to effectively provide a well-rounded Christian education. The parent/teacher team is able to make significant spiritual, academic, and social progress within the students as individuals and the school as a whole.  Active parental participation is encouraged by linking the parent to the student’s education in a number of ways. Parent/teacher report card conferences are mandatory in elementary grades and available to middle and high school students as well. Interim reports, classroom phone access, teacher and staff email, Thursday Folders and Edline are all part of the ongoing communication process employed to link parents to their student’s educational experience.
