Thank you for your interest in applying to Calvary Christian Academy. We encourage families to apply early during our open enrollment period in January of the upcoming school year. Although, we welcome applications throughout the year, families that apply in advance have the best opportunity for admission due to our high re-enrollment rate and space availability.
If you are applying for our pre-kindergarten program, your child must be 4 years old by August 31st. If you are applying for our kindergarten program, your child must be 5 years old by August 31st.
There are four steps in the admissions process. The Admissions Office will assist you through this process.
Step 1- Apply
To apply for admission, please download, complete, and submit an application along with all of the required general and grade-level specific forms to our Admissions Office. Click here to print the required forms.
Step 2- Test (If applicable)
Students who have not submitted previous standardized test scores are required to test for academic evaluation. Testing takes place on our campus and is administered individually by appointment. You will be contacted should testing need to be scheduled.
Step 3- Interview
Calvary Christian Academy is a covenant Christian school, meaning that we seek to enroll families with a strong and visible relationship with Jesus Christ. The interview process is conducted through the respective school level to which you are applying (elementary, middle, and high) and serves the purpose of evaluating the family’s spiritual commitment and willingness to co-labor with the school. Both parents or legal guardian(s) and the prospective student are required to be present at the interview. As a student matures, we look increasingly to that student’s relationship with the Lord as we perform admissions and annual re-enrollment reviews. We consider three seasons of ministry that students, parents, and the CCA team participate in as students proceed through school.
The First Season: Preschool through Grade 3 – Our Responsibility to Teach and Train
The Second Season: Grades 4 and 5 – Reaching the Age of Accountability
The Third Season: Grade 6 through 12 – Adding to the Spiritual Environment at CCA
Step 4- Acceptance
A letter detailing your admissions status will be mailed to you within two to four weeks of your interview. Upon acceptance, there is a two-week period in which to submit matriculation fees and secure your child’s enrollment at CCA.
