We provide a snack daily, as well as playground and other activities. Fundamentals of Crafting
Tuesday (3rd- 5th) Dismissal – 5:10 PM. Students who are interested in crafting will enjoy this after school class. Instructor – Mrs. Shunk Cost: $80.00 per quarter.
Engineering and Robotics I & II
Tuesday (4th -8th) Dismissal - 5:10 PM. This class will allow students to develop interest and ability in the areas of logic, engineering, and robotics. Beginning with simple machines, students will learn to design and build various mechanical devices and bridges; these exercises will include training in reasoning skills, computer programming, and internal competitions involving engineering and design principles. Instructor - Mr. Albert Giovino Cost: $140 ($100 plus an additional supply fee of $40.00) per quarter.
Study Hall
Tuesday or Thursday (3rd -5th), Dismissal - 5:10 PM. A class designed to provide a quiet setting to work on homework. The instructor is there to supervise not tutor. Instructor- CCA Teacher Cost: $65.00 per quarter.
Dance
Tuesday (1st-3rd) or Thursday (3rd-5th) dismissal - 5:10 PM Open to all CCA students that would like a survey of ballet, jazz, hip hop, etc. Classes would include teaching of the basic technique and terminology of dance; Leotard, tights, and hair in a ponytail are required as well as ballet or jazz shoes. Spanish
Tuesday (K-2) or Tuesday (3-5) Dismissal-5:10 PM. The older students will be introduced to basic Spanish- through worksheets, games and songs; some of the culture and make a couple of crafts. The younger students will learn basic phrases through action songs, activities, crafts, books, flashcards and fun worksheets. Instructors- Mrs. Schad and Mrs. Mitchell Cost: $65.00 per quarter.
Temple Training
Tuesday and Thursday (3rd-5th), Dismissal-5:10 PM. Temple Training will have a focus on nutrition and fitness. Students will participate in a variety of activities and excercises that promote a healthy lifestyle. Instructor- Mrs. Monshi Cost: $65.00 per quarter.
Athletics Intramural Soccer (Co-Ed)
Monday, Wednesday and Friday (3rd-8th), Dismissal – 5:15 PM Our intramural program is a great place for young athletes to learn the basic skills, drills and fundamentals of these sports to prepare them for the middle school and high school level of play.
