After School Program Class Descriptions
A.C.E. (After Care Enrichment)

Monday-Friday grades (PreK-2nd). Dismissal- 5:10 PM. ACE is our after-care program here at CCA for those students who are currently enrolled in PreK-2nd grade. We provide snack daily, as well as playground and other activities. Cost: 1 day per week for nine weeks: $63, 2 days per week: $126, 3 days per week: $189, 4 days per week $252, 5 days per week: $315 (for the quarter).

CCA Lego Gearheads

(Grades 5th-8th).  CCA Lego Gearheads is a competitive Robotics team that will compete in the First Lego League (FLL). We work with system legos, and the lego Mindstorm Robot.  WE will be presented with a challenge and a research project the first week of september from FLL and will work through the first semester in preparation for competitions in January THIS IS A SEMESTRE LONG COMMITMENT! the club is looking for 5th-8th graders that enjoy solving problems, doing research, making presentations, have computer skills and having fun with LEGOS!!! Wii Club

(Grades 1st-4th). This club is a competition based club where students test out their gaming skills, and their ability to solve puzzles in a tournament like structure. Students will be introduced to puzzles like Sudoku, word puzzles, and word problems. (Tuesday/Staff Instructor/$75.00)

Crochet Club

(Grades 3rd-5th). Join CCA crochet class. Please commit to a semester of fun. Crochet basic learn the basic chain, stitch, single, double, and triple crochet stitches to make projects to keep or give as gifts. This club is for boys and girls. (Tuesdays/Staff Instructor/$80.00)

Art

(Grades 1st-4th). Great for CCA students that would like to use their creativity and express themselves through art. This class will use effective elements of art and principles of design. Classes would include teaching of the analyzing, assets and derived meaning from works of art including their own. Students apply what they learned in visual arts across many subject areas. This class will be used to launch a lifelong learning of creativity for all students. (Mondays/Staff Instructor/$75.00)

Sewing

(Grades 3rd-6th). This class will inspire your child to learn an art form that is being forgotten. Our instructor is a seamstress that would like to impact her wisdom and skill to young girls, integrating biblical principles to the craft of sewing. Also we are encouraging parents to attend this class as well and participate and learn with their daughters. Parents participate for no cost! (Thursdays/Staff Instructor/$90.00).

Fun With Balls

(Grades PreK-K). Fun with Balls! What child can see a ball and not want to roll it? By simply rolling and bouncing a ball, children are learning about cause and effect, developing motor control, and building eye hand coordination. Introducing this activity to your child will help stimulate their mind and effect many curriculum areas, along with improving your child's fitness and physical health awareness. When you combine an enticing ball with another exciting object-a hoop, you have the ingredients for creative play so come join us. (non-competitive) Selective days when parents are welcome to view their child will be announced by Coach David Delbusto. (Tuesdays/Staff Instructor/$75.00)

Ballet

(Grades K-2nd). Open to all CCA students that would like to survey a ballet. Classes would include teaching of basic technique and terminology of dance: leotard, tights, and hair in a ponytail are required as well as ballet or jazz shoes. Parents are welcome to visit the class only on open sessions will be determined by the dance instructor. (Mondays/Staff Instructor/$90.00)

Hip-Hop

(Grades K-2nd). Open to all CCA students that would like to survey a ballet. Auditioning Commercial Class

(Grades 3rd-5th) Commercial class is for those who have ever desired to be in the commercial business. It is taught by Ms. Amy Simon, a full time model and actress. This class will provide the learning on how to audition for commercials, how to get an agent, and what not to do on am audition or job. They will do everything from auditioning together, memorizing a script, and coming up with a commercial of their own. There will also be special quests such as an agent and casting director. (Mondays/Staff Instructor/$75.00)
