Calvary Christian Academy is a ministry of Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale, located on an expansive 75-acre campus complete with state-of-the-art facilities and educational resources. A new, four-story discipleship building hosts our secondary classrooms and elective programs. Classrooms are designed to be interactive and convert between individual classrooms for specific subject instruction and media-rich, auditorium-style environments to accommodate special guest speakers and cooperative learning. Core curriculum studies include Bible, math, English, history, science, foreign language and weekly chapels. A variety of challenging learning experiences are also available in art, music, drama, dance, physical education, media and technology. CCA is SACS and ACSI accredited and currently serves over 1300 students representing 800 Christian families in pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade.
The heart of excellence at Calvary Christian Academy is found within our teachers, faculty, staff and administration. Educational certification is not enough. Our teachers are spiritually-mature believers, called and equipped by God, with hearts for shepherding and instructing our most precious gift: our children. Calvary Christian Academy does not compromise on its stringent faculty selection process. Because CCA is a ministry of Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale, students and families benefit from the support of the church's pastoral leadership and the administrative staff.
Calvary Christian Academy encourages and provides academic and social opportunities outside of the classroom as well. Students are able to participate in community outreaches and mission trips, provide community service, and travel to conferences and competitions. Social activities encompass many areas including special events, concerts, class trips, after-school functions, and more. We also have three on-site dining options that promote fellowship for families and students alike. We encourage parents to get their day going after student drop-off by grabbing a cup of coffee and attending an on-site, morning Bible study or volunteering in their child’s classroom. The Bible instructs us to impress God’s commandments upon our children “when you sit at home, when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.” Calvary Christian Academy seeks to provide the appropriate school environment and support to assist you in your responsibility as a Christian parent to raise up the next generation.
