Our God is an awesome and creative God! In fact, He has set the standard for all artistry and creativity. Colossians 3:23 tells us that, “Whatever you do, do it heartily, as if for the Lord, and not for men.” Because the Arts are so diverse, we seek to apply this verse in every area of the Fine Arts Department.
We have tremendous opportunity to introduce and portray Scripture dramatically in theatre, skillfully in band, and harmoniously in choir. We add to that the beauty of interpretive dance and originality of the visual arts. At each performance, at every venue, we endeavor to perform as unto the Lord.
At CCA, we honor God not simply by utilizing our natural talents, but by striving for excellence to refine and improve them to ultimately please our “Audience of One.”
