National Honor Society
The National Honor Society is devoted to developing students academically in the areas of Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Character.
Rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors with a 3.5 or higher cumulative weighted GPA who exemplify scholarship, leadership, service, and Christian character are invited to apply for membership in the National Honor Society.
The NHS looks for motivated, academically-minded students with exemplary behavior and a heart for serving others.
There are two paths to membership in the CCA chapter of the NHS:
- Students transferring to CCA with a membership in good standing should ask their NHS sponsor from their former school to mail a recommendation letter to the CCA chapter sponsors.
- CCA students eligible to join by induction will receive an invitation to apply for membership.
In the spring, invitations are sent to qualified students. They must complete the application process, which is designed to help them show evidence of the Four Pillars of NHS (scholarship, leadership, service, and Christian character) in their lives.
