Topher graduated from Moody Bible Institue and spent three years as a youth pastor in Chicago. He will be overseeing chapel services, small groups, outreach, retreats, and mission trips for CCA. He and his wife, Anya, were married in July of 2005. Since moving to Florida, he has been with the Liquid Ministry since 2006 when he began attending Calvary Chapel. He and Anya have recently adopted Crystal Marcy, a senior at CCA, into their family. Topher enjoys golf, baseball, basketball and walking his dog.

Leo is entering his twenty-third year working with the teens of Florida. He has been an associate pastor over the youth ministry at local churches and has been a Christian educator since 1988. He has earned two masters degree in theology from Biblical Theological Seminary in Hatfield, PA. He is married to his bride since 1980, and they have three sons: Sean, graduated from Vanderbilt University, Jonathan, is in the honors program at BCC and Ryan is a freshman at CCA.

Bill holds a Bachelor Arts degree and is currently pursuing a Masters of Divinity degree. He has taught Bible, English and Greek.  He serviced five years as Dean of Students. Bill is also in his fifteenth year coaching high school baseball, seventh here at Calvary. He and his wife Diana have been attending Calvary since 1999.

Aaron holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from Taylor University. He has been a Christian since the young age of four. Aaron and his wife, Katy, have been married since 2002. Aaron and Katy have two children, Kaia Faith and their most resent addition, Jamen Andrew. His favorite activities include construction, hunting, fishing, music, and sports.

Anya holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Languages from Moody Bible Institute.  In 1990 she came to know her gracious Savior and committed her life to serving Him vocationally in 1999.  Anya teaches 9th grade Bible and loves teaching, encouraging, and coming alongside High Schoolers with the Word of God.  Her husband serves on staff as well as the CCA Youth Pastor.  Their family has grown to include their newly-adopted daughter, Crystal.  Crystal is a senior this year at CCA.  In the future, Anya and Topher hope to serve the Lord cross-culturally overseas.

Marty received his Bachelor’s degree in Sports Administration from St. Thomas University in Miami, FL. He is blessed to have a large family of four brothers and sisters. He has been a Christian since June of 2001. After receiving Christ, Marty started serving in Children’s Ministry at CCFL. Here he discovered God’s love for children. He loves to play all sports, especially golf. He coaches the golf team at CCA.

This is Kevin's first year of teaching at CCA.  He became a Christian in 1968 and has been married for 17 years to Debbie.  They have three daughters that attend CCA.  Kevin's favorite hobbies include playing tennis, golf and bridge.  Kevin has been in the education and counseling field since 1983.

David has been a Christian since 1990 when he was led to the Lord by his father.  David spent his early years gaining a heart for ministry as he grew up on the mission field in Bangladesh.  This is his first year as a resident of Florida and his first year at CCA.  He spent many years in leadership positions at various camps and desires to bring the Word of God to the next generation.  David loves sports of all kinds and enjoys building relationships with people.

Jim holds a Bachelors degree in Music Education from SUNY/Potsdam and a Masters in Educational Technology from Florida Atlantic University. He has been teaching since 1978, including nineteen years at Pine Crest School before coming to CCA in 2001. Jim has been a Christian since 1991 and has called Calvary Chapel his church home since then. He is presently serving in the Active Word and Love Out Loud ministries. Jim and his wife, Ann, have been married since 1987 and have three children, Chris, Brooke, and Allie.

Monica earned a Bachelor of Music from Nyack College in Nyack, New York. She has been teaching since 2002. Monica taught music at a NYC public school in Brooklyn prior to moving to Fort Lauderdale this past August. This is her first year teaching at CCA where she serves as the choral director. Monica has been saved since 1986. She married her childhood sweetheart, Marcos, on March 31, 2001. Some of her favorite activities are attending musical productions, singing, and spending time with her husband, friends and family.

Lisa holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting/Directing and a Master's Degree in Education from Florida Atlantic University . Her ministry involvement has been with the Evangelical Theatre Company. She has been married to her husband Timothy since 1992 and they have two children, Timmy and Lindsey. She loves spending time with her family enjoying activities such as the beach, movies, and baseball games.

Katherine earned her degree in Music Education from Taylor University in Upland, Indiana in 2003.  She has had the wonderful opportunity to teach at the American School of Tegucigalpa, in the capital city of Honduras as well as three years in the Chicago Public School System.  This will be her first year as a Floridian as well as her first year at CCA, serving as drama and choral teacher.  She has been a Christian since 1986 and enjoyed praising the Lord the last three years in the Moody Church Sanctuary Choir.  She looks forward to marrying her fiance in June 2009.  In her spare time she enjoys singing, reading, going to the beach, Precept bible studies, scrapbooking, cooking, traveling and spending time with her friends. 

Jennifer earned her Bachelor of Arts at the University of Miami.  Although she was a Political Science major, upon graduation she changed direction and decided to pursue her dream of being a professional ballet dancer.  She went on to dance with and choreograph for the Orlando Ballet for 6 years and danced for 1 year with the Carolina Ballet.  An injury forced her to retire from dance, move back to South Florida, and thankfully recommit her life to the Lord.  Jennifer has been a full-time staff member for the past two years.  In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with her husband, Tom, step-daughter Sage and her two Pomeranians, Coco and Desi.

Noemi holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Art and Early Childhood Education. She attended Nyack College in New York and graduated from New York State University at New Paltz.  She has taught in New York, Florida and Michigan but has always considered Florida and Calvary Chapel her home.  She returned to Florida in 2006 and has been teaching secondary Art here at CCA for the last 2 1/2 years.  She enjoys spending time with her two beautiful children, Johnny, who lives in Minnesota, and Candice, who is now a senior at CCA. Her passion is to use her God given talent in ways that will bring glory to His name and advance the Gospel.  If and when she has a spare moment, she is most likely found doing some kind of creative art project either for her class or for her own enjoyment.  She likes jewelry design, sewing, painting, sculpture, drawing, and reading. She has been a Christian since she was seventeen and has been actively involved with the youth groups at her previous churches and now here at Calvary. 

Mark is an artist-missionary.  He has been a professional artist serving and glorifying the Lord through Calvary Christian Academy and Christian Cultural Development Foundation locally, nationally, and internationally.  He has served in the Philippines since 1991 and CCA since 2001.  His background includes holographic specialist/art director for a London-based corporation, a director/orator for an international holography museum in Los Angeles.  He has a Bachelor of Fine Arts with Honors in Painting from Art Center College of Design.  He also studied business and art at Miami of Ohio.  He was an apprentice under John Archer for a specialty art Company in Chicago.  Mark and his wife Robin, who is also a artist missionary, have two children David and John.  Mark is a sports fan and enjoys golfing.  The Merrills have been attending Calvary since 1993.

John earned a Bachelor of Science in Radio and Television Communications from Bob Jones University . His experience includes working as an award-winning sports broadcaster, radio station programmer/personality, sportswriter, and public relations director for minor league sports. He has started communications programs at three different Christian schools and is also currently the program manager and music director for Reach FM.  He has been saved since 1972 and has been attending CCFL since 2002. He has been married to Jackie since 1998 and has five children, Kristen, Kerri, CJ, Casey, and Josh. He enjoys spending time and traveling with his family, attending sports events, writing, researching for his classes, and having quiet time with his wife.

Rick's academic background includes a B.S. from the University of Miami with a double-major in Film and Anthropology as well as graduate work at Florida International University.  He also holds a Diploma in Biblical Studies from Calvary Chapel.  His professional experiences include working as an editor for post-production companies and network television for 6 years. Rick left the television industry and began teaching in 2003. Rick gave his life to the Lord in January 2003 and began attending CCFL in the fall of 2005. Rick currently serves in Pastoral Care and Prison Ministries at Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale.  He is married to his wonderful wife, Tammy, who is an elementary teacher at CCA.

He then completed his doctorate training in chiropractic at Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City, Missouri in 2005. Eric also worked on the US Army Breast Cancer Genome Project and the Federal Riparian Mapping Projects through the Bureau of Land Management and the U.S. Geological Survey. Eric comes from teaching at a college in Colorado Springs, Colorado with his wife Ashley, daughter Naomi who is 7, daughter Hannah who is 5, both of which are attending CCA, and son Samuel, who is almost 2. Eric enjoys spending time with his family, going to the beach, photography, boating, art, playing and listening to music, and traveling.

Albert graduated from Community College of the Air Force with a technical degree as a Nuclear Weapons Specialist. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Bible and Christian Education from Carolina University of Theology and a Master of Arts in Christian Education and Church Administration from Carolina University of Theology. He has been employed at Corning Clinical, Rugby Pharmaceutical and Ren Renal Laboratories.  He has taught in Christian education for 14 years. He is married to Lisa and has three sons.

Holly earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Pittsburgh. She has taught science for 6 years at Coral Springs Charter School. She has been attending Calvary Chapel since 1998 when she got saved. She has been involved in the 678 ministry in the past. Some of her favorite activities include traveling, cooking, and being at the beach.

Kim earned a Bachelors degree from University of South Florida and a Masters in Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University. She has been saved since 1972 and has called Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale her home church since 1995. Kim and her husband, Steven, have been married since 1990. Zadoc was born in Jamaica, went to high school there, and completed his first degree in Mechanical Engineering at McGill University, in Montreal.  Subsequent to that, he completed a Master's degree in Educational Administration.  Zadoc worked with an automotive corporation for about 3 years.  Then, worked for a turbine manufacturing company for approximately 2 years.
After Jesus rescued Zadoc from deep darkness, his heart turned away from caring for machines, to desiring greater involvement with people.  He started tutoring math and science in a Catholic middle school.  Zadoc has taught for a total 24 years.  He has instructed Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, and geometry at the high school level for the past 10 years. 

Zadoc is thankful and humbled to be able to serve at Calvary Christian Academy.

After graduating, she worked in Broward County Public Schools for 8 years. For 4 years, she volunteered and eventually worked on staff for Young Life, a para-church organization. She and her husband, Sean, have been blessed with two children - Daynah (3) and Tyler (1). Debbie enjoys volleyball, skiing, and singing praises to the Lord!

Mr. Jeske graduated from San Jose State University California in 1971 and earned his California life teaching credentials in 1972.  He taught at San Jose State University for two years.  He then taught high school music, world history, U.S. history, A.P. U.S. history, U.S. government and economics until moving to Florida in 2006.  In 2003 he received the NCLB credential in history.  Mr. Jeske radically was saved in 1958 and rededicated his life in 1972.

Ryan attended Deerfield Beach High School where he received an International Baccalaureate Diploma and was recognized as an AP Scholar with Honor. Ryan attended Florida Atlantic University and received a Bachelor's of Arts degree in the Social Sciences. Ryan is currently pursuing a Master's of Arts in Christian Studies from Trinity International University.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Social Studies from Evangelical College in Springfield , Missouri . She has been a Christian since 1976 and has been attending Sheridan Hills Church since 1987. Bev has been married to Randy since 1983 and they have four daughters. Her volunteer service has been with youth ministry and she enjoys inductive Bible studies and reading.

Denise holds a Bachelor of Science in Social Studies from the University of Kentucky and a Master's degree in General Education from Johns Hopkins University . She has been involved in Catholic education since 1981. She became a Christian in 2003 and now attends Calvary Chapel Ft. Lauderdale. Her hobbies include coaching sports, playing basketball, and she enjoys bowling.

Kori holds a Bachelor's degree from Evangel University. She has been a Christian since 1978, and has been married to Michael, who is also on staff at CCA, since 1992. They have two daughters, Kayla and Abigail, who attend CCA. Kori has been teaching at CCA since 2005. Prior to moving to Florida, she served in full-time ministry with Michael in Missouri and Michigan.

This is her first year at CCA where she will serve as the secondary media specialist. She has 15 years teaching experience at Quiet Waters Elementary and achieved her National Board of Professional Teaching Standards certification in 2005. She grew up in the church and accepted the Lord as her personal savior in 1980. Her father, Ed Sidle was the most influential person in her life both personally and spiritually as he served as a Methodist pastor for 15 years. Kathryn and her husband Thai have two daughters and enjoy outdoor activities such as kayaking and swimming.

Jason holds a Bachelor of Arts in Human Performance and Wellness from Trinity International University. He holds a certification by the National Strength Conditioning Association and has been teaching since 1997. Jason was saved in 1980 and has been attending CCFL since 1996. He enjoys weight training, home improvement projects, and spending as much time as possible with his wife, Chris and five children, Megan, Caitlin, Nathan, Benjamin and Christian.

Tina has a Bachelor of Science in Wellness and Physical Education from the University of South Florida and is currently working on her graduate degree in Health Studies through the University of Alabama. She gave her life to Christ in 1996 at Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale. Tina enjoys participating in triathlons and endurance events, and coaching cheerleading at CCA.  She and her husband, James, have one daughter, Avery Marie, who attends CCA.

Jon currently teaches boys middle school P.E. at CCA. He graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelors degree in Exercise and Sports Science and a concentration in K-12 P.E. This is his first year at CCA, but his second year teaching overall. Jon taught homeschool P.E. last year with the Saints program. He was saved in 1987 and has been attending Calvary Chapel for just under a year. He enjoys playing golf and sleeping in his spare time.

Derek went to school specially to teach Physical Education.  He is currently teaching middle school boys PE at CCA.  Derek taught one year in Colorado prior to coming to Calvary Christian Academy.  He has coached football, basketball and baseball at Calvary and is currently the middle school boys basketball coach.  Derek and his new wife, Ashley, attend Calvary Chapel Ft. Lauderdale.  Mr. Holden enjoys being active, working out or playing sports. 

Neil holds a Master of Education and Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from Colorado State University. He is blessed to have known Jesus as his Savior since his childhood days. He has taught and coached in Christian schools since 1989 and has 18 total years of education experience. He is married to CCA elementary teacher Cindy, and has two married sons, Derek-also a CCA teacher-and Tyler.

Tammy has a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education from Utah State University. She received a Master of Science Degree from Florida Atlantic University in Exercise Science. Tammy is married to Terry Campbell and they have three children: Jackson, Jillian, and Jordan. Tammy enjoys beach volleyball and water sports.

Daniel has a Bachelor of Science (Social Science) from FAU in Boca Raton, Fla.  He has been teaching and coaching at Zion Lutheran Christian School for the past 11 years.  He has taught Elementary PE for 5 years, Middle School Bible for 3 years, and Middle School American History for 3 years.  He is married to Daphne Weppner.  They have been married since 1987.  They have 4 children, Darby Adam-17, Darian Anna-15, Daylyn Anna-13, and Daley Adam-6.  Daniel loves to listen to and tell stories, read, watch movies, play ping-pong, listen to music, and view art.

Melissa has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Science from Florida Atlantic University. This will be her fifth year at CCA teaching PE.  Her hobbies are playing sports, shooting pool, and likes to fish. She is happily married and has one daughter.

Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science from Wake Forest University. He has been involved in teaching technology since 1995. Prior to being added to the CCA staff, he served as the training coordinator for Calvary Chapel for four years. He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior in 1983 and made Calvary Chapel his church home in 1994. He and his wife, Stephanie are a blended family with two children, Bradley and Tiffany. Jeff enjoys camping and long bicycle rides with his family, and spends some of his spare time in horticulture, working with cacti. Jeff serves as an Elder, and he and his wife serve in the Parenting Ministry, Family Ministry, and Biblical Counseling Ministry.

Sandy holds a Masters of Education degree from Western Maryland College and a Bachelor of Science degree in Technology Management from the University of Maryland and has been working in the education field since 1995. Sandy was saved in 1972 and has been attending Calvary Chapel Ft. Lauderdale since moving to Florida in 2002. Sandy and her husband Chris have three adult children. Her favorite activities include gardening, reading and computers.

 Linda holds a Bachelor Arts in Communication and Journalism from Florida Atlantic University.  She has been a Christian since she was 13 and has been attending CCFL since 1995.  Linda is a single mom of two and enjoys spending time with her children Christina and Jack.  Her hobbies include cooking, scrapbooking, and writing.

Julie holds a Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Indiana University.  She has taught ESOL, computers, and Spanish at various levels since 1990. She has been a Christian since 1972 and is married with two children, Carlos and Emily, who are students at CCA. Julie loves to read, cook, bird-watch, and spend time with her family.
