Take a look back at the Calvary Christian Academy Class of 2019's senior year.
On Friday, May 24 we celebrated the
Class of 2019 as they moved from high school students to alumni at the CCA Graduation Ceremony. The end of an era brings new beginnings for these young adults. As they venture to new places and take on new challenges, our prayer is that they would always do what is right, love mercy, and walk humbly with God.
We’re confident that God has designed each student uniquely for a purpose and we’re excited to see them grow in the years to come. Some have spent over a decade at CCA, others only a year or two. Still, this class certainly had a drive to take advantage of every opportunity to grow.
Our prayer is that they would always do what is right, love mercy, and walk humbly with God.
Emilie Lubin shared that she found direction for her life for the very first time when she came to CCA. “Before I came [to CCA], I didn’t really know what I wanted to do with my life,” said Lubin. “But then I saw all the opportunities with
the arts that I didn’t have before, and I got into ceramics and realized that I am an artist. Now I’m majoring in interior design and art history.”
As much as the Class of 2019 accomplished, they also had fun and built friendships that will last a lifetime. Dance concerts, sports teams, mission trips, retreats — students experienced opportunities to exercise leadership skills and serve one another. Christina Elique’s favorite experience was this year’s
basketball team. “We had a lot of young girls, and me and my co-captain, Ariana Allen, really stepped up to be those leaders and teach them how to focus when they need to focus but also have fun and enjoy the game,” said Elique.
Here’s a look back on some of the best moments of the Class of 2019’s senior year:
Every journey looks different, but one thing is certain — our graduates will always have a family at Calvary Christian Academy.
Share your love and shine your light, Class of 2019!
