Band Camp

Does your child have a passion for music and a love for God? This band camp is designed to help students achieve greater confidence and trust in their Savior's call for their lives while honing their musical talents. Students must have their own instrument and necessary materials, ensemble and/or solo music, a notebook, and a packed lunch or money for a cafeteria lunch ($7).

6th–12th Grade

June 4—June 8

9:30am – 3:15pm

Cost: $150

Lessons: $30 per 1/2 hour, $50 per hour

General Schedule:

9:30–10:15 — Warm up exercises; devotion
10:30–11:20 — Rehearsal (Band and chorus room)
11:20–11:55 — Sectionals and individual lessons
12:00–12:45 — Lunch
12:50–1:30 — Master class
(Conducting, Music history, Composition, Theory, Ear training, Keyboard Skills, technology)
1:35–2:35 — Rehearsal (Band and chorus room)
2:40–3:15 — All State (Scales, etudes and sight reading)
Last day — Performance 2-3pm (Band Room)

Lessons $30 for 1/2 hour, $50 for an hour lesson. Lessons will be held before and after camp.
