Generous Donation Funds Phase Two of Calvary Field House

Support from families and local business owners continues to grow and develop CCA, providing opportunities that will benefit students for many years to come.

CCA is committed to Making Disciples of Jesus Christ through Christian education. Hiring excellent faculty and providing rigorous academics is part of what makes CCA great. New and improved facilities also elevate the students' experience and provide opportunities for our students to explore and excel in their craft.

On October 5th, 2018, Calvary Christian Academy received a $600,000 commitment from the Rogers Family to support the construction of the Calvary Field House. This 7,500 square foot, two-story facility located under the Grandstands will include locker rooms, showers, training rooms, restrooms, meeting rooms, and concessions. “Through this gift we will be able to excellently serve our students in PE classes during the day, our athletic teams and visiting school’s athletic teams after school, and the many fans who come to our games at Calvary Field. I am excited to see phase two of this project come to fruition,” said Head of School, Dr. Jason Rachels.

"[This] represents a tangible and wonderful thing for us to see our funds [accomplish]."

This new facility will replace the old portable locker rooms and showers and provide a safe and secure changing area for our PE classes and after school sports teams. “Judith and I both feel strongly that the school, students, and athletes will benefit greatly from these new facilities. It also represents a tangible and wonderful thing for us to see our funds [accomplish],” said Rodney Rogers.

The vision for this new facility that began 10 years ago will now become a reality in the fall of 2019. Jesus Christ is the foundation of everything we do at Calvary Christian Academy, and we rejoice in partnering with families like the Rogers who love our mission to Make Disciples of Jesus Christ and understand excellent, Christian education is worth the investment.

Thank you to the Rogers and the many other families that have generously supported Calvary Christian Academy over the years! Thank you for letting Calvary Christian Academy be a part of your legacy.
