STEM Camp is back in action for the 2022 Summer Break! Our experienced instructor has created an engaging program that disguises science, technology, engineering, and math in experiments and fun! Kids will create, be challenged to think outside the box, all while learning about God's attention to detail.
Please note, there is a one-time fee of $60 (for a single child) and $75 (for multi-child) registration. This must be selected as an “add-on”.
Be sure to select the grade your child WILL BE entering in August 2022.
Camp hours are Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM-5:45 PM. Hot lunch is available for purchase as well. Don't miss out on all the fun! Sign up today!
Cost: $340/Week Lunch: $7.25/Day (optional)
Our goal for this summer is to make sure your child has FUN and stays SAFE. There are a few things you can do to help us with this.
Drop off is at the camp reception desk in the West Corridor. Dismissal before 5:30 will be at the camp reception desk as well. After 5:30 PM we will use carline on the west end of the property.
Camp shirts—camp T-shirts are required for all campers, we provide 3 camp shirts which can be picked up on the first Monday of camp or when your child arrives for their first day
Electronics and toys should be kept at home. We provide so many fun activities and want to ensure things from home do not get lost
Please have campers arrive dressed in shorts and a camp T-shirt, with closed-toed shoes.
We are looking forward to an amazing summer filled with fun!
The heart is the central organ of the circulatory system. It pumps blood to the body’s organs and tissues delivering oxygen and nutrients. Dissection of a cow heart allows students an amazing opportunity to learn about mammalian heart structure. Campers will explore how blood is pumped through the heart. Cow hearts are similar in structure and function to the human heart, making this dissection a wonderful way for students to learn how God is truly the master designer and constructed every detail of their being.
This year's messy science lab day is themed: Candy Shop
Any change that causes a new substance to be formed is a chemical change. Students will discover and explore these chemical changes as they travel through five different centers throughout the day with a Candy Shop theme. There are several chemical properties they will explore while they travel from class to class.
Engineering and Design Process Build: Hoverboard
Students will study Force through hands-on experiments. They will work on teams using collaborative teamwork and Mathematics to build a hoverboard. They will test and modify their builds and see firsthand how force works within their build. Students will be guided to cut and drill with their camp counselors in a safe environment. Students will record all week their adventures gathering information and videos to put together a digital video production documentary of their STEM camp experience. Students are encouraged to be creative and develop an appreciation for their imagination intertwined within their work.
