Safeguarding one of God’s most precious gifts to us—our children.
Each year administrative staff and the church leadership team proactively look for ways to enhance the safety and security of our school, church, and associated properties. After reviewing the 2017-18 school year, we decided to move add more than 240 security cameras to our buildings, improving our ability to monitor large venues, hallways, and stairwells. In addition, new walls, gates, and fencing are being installed around the property, including a new entrance to The Grill (Calvary Chapel's on-campus restaurant).
Much of the work is already underway, but with a total cost of $750,000, additional funding is still required.
Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale has agreed to contribute $500,000 to the project. In order to complete this critical initiative for the school, we have added a Safety & Security Fee of $100 to each student ($8.33 per month). We are looking for 10 families to contribute $2,500, 30 families to contribute $1,000, and 30 families to contribute $500 to complete the project. We’ve already received checks and pledges for this initiative. Will you consider making a contribution today?
