  SENIOR NIGHT, SENIOR NIGHT!!!! Abby Hage, Jade Euell, and Alexa Gonzalez were recognized as our graduating seniors!! Through the floods and the storm this game was pursued with great determination, but at the end of the day it was cut short by lightning. Even-though there was inclement weather, the storm didn’t dampen the spirit of celebrating our seniors in their last home game. Abby Hage made outstanding tiptop, one armed catch that kept everyone on their toes! As we honored our seniors, several girls were sworn into National Honors Society! What a day of celebrations!!!! Stay tuned for CCA Softball Districts next week.

• Dwyer vs. CCA

  CCA loss yesterday to a much higher ranked Dwyer, 2 to 17. Hanna Lamb made two great defensive plays picking off runner at 1st and sniping one at 2nd base! Ashlyn Marjama lays a beautiful bunt down 1st base line setting the stage for Braelyn Mittauer. Brae continues her hitting streak ripping a triple deep down 3rd baseline bring home 2 RBIs.  Please come out and support your CCA Lady Eagles as they play HOME against Boca Christian. Mark your calendars…SENIOR NIGHT is this Monday and our last HOME game of the season! We look forward to seeing you there!

• Westminister vs CCA

  Hey, Hey, Hey! We beat WA!! Your CCA Lady Eagles brought home a hard fought “W” with CCA 6 and WA 4! The Defensive ESPN play of the game goes to Taylor Alberti who flashed the leather in center by making a diving catch and showed off her range by catching one deep in the gap. The return of the “Hit Parade” was lead by Braelyn Mittauer and Hanna Lamb with perfect batting at the plate. Braelyn’s hit was riding the left field rail line for a diving triple. Later in the game Bam Lamba hit a one hopper bomb to the fence which brought in a crucial RBI. And of course Reese the mound was back at it with 7 strikeouts in 7 innings. What a great win!!! Stayed for the next game which is against Dwyer this Thursday and our senior night on Monday!!!

• Kings vs. CCA

  Your CCA Lady Eagles were short-handed, missing some key players in the game against Kings Academy, but with courage and determination still suited up for battle.  It was all about the Benjamins, more like Washington’s. CCA hit nine singles and had 1 double for a double digit hit day. First time catcher, Braelyn Mittauer, throws a lightning strike to thwart the stolen base attempt at second! Grand theft was committed by the Kings center fielder when she caught Mia Cartagena’s bomb to left center. At the end of the game score did not represent the effort the lady Eagles put forward. CCA 8, Kings 16. Keep us in your prayers CCA as press forward in a series of away games!

  Our CCA Lady Eagles put up football numbers today, CCA 26 to Trinity Christian - 14.   It was a stunner that the Mittauer gang (Kaia, Addison, Reese Mittauer) throw a combined no hitter. The tower of Mittauer (Reese, Addison, Braelyn) each a blasted a triple. April 6th is our next game against Ransom Everglades followed by a BIG HOME game with Palm Beach Gardens!!  We look forward to seeing you there!

• CCA vs Westminister

  CCA Lady Eagles ended their winning streak yesterday after losing to Westminister 12 to 1. A few bright spots of the game...Alexa Gonzalez hit a double bringing in an RBI and threw a laser beam from centerfield to home plate nabbing the runner with a great tag by Hanna Lamb. Hanna also hit 2 for 3. It was a tough loss, but the Eagles have a couple of days to regroup and hit reset to face Highlands Christian Academy AWAY at 5pm this coming Friday!
