During Jesus’ ministry, we see that He has a special heart for children. They are indeed precious in His sight, and because of this, Christian parents can boldly approach His throne of grace on their child(ren)’s behalf — interceding and petitioning with faith. EXPRESS THEMSELVES WITH EDIFYING SPEECH that would bless those who listen (Ephesians 4:29)

PRIORITIZE THEIR FAITH, growing deeper in your knowledge, love, and grace as they mature (2 Peter 3:18)

BOLDLY PROCLAIM THE GOSPEL and your goodness with holy reverence (Romans 1:16)

EXHIBIT SELF-CONTROL AND DISCIPLINE in all they do as one empowered by your Holy Spirit (2 Timothy 1:7)

BE A SERVANT LEADER and example to their peers, always looking to you for guidance (1 Timothy 4:12)

KNOW YOU ARE NEAR in good times and bad as their all-powerful protector, defender, and friend (Isaiah 41:10)

CAST THEIR CARES UPON YOU and not be anxious for anything, for you are trustworthy and strong enough to carry any burden (Psalm 55:22)

HUNGER AND THIRST FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS as well as invaluable time spent studying your Word (Matthew 5:6)

LIVE HONORABLY according to your Word, truly believing that your ways are higher and better (Psalm 119:9)

YIELD THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT so that their devotion to you would be evident and draw others closer to your presence (Galatians 5:23)

SURROUND THEMSELVES WITH GODLY INFLUENCES who encourage them in their faith and speak the truth in love (Proverbs 13:10)

COMMUNICATE OPENLY AND HONESTLY with me as their parent, maintaining a humble and teachable attitude (Ephesians 6:1-3)

HOLD ONTO ACADEMIC AND BIBLICAL INSTRUCTION they receive both at school and home so they can live out your calling for their life (Proverbs 4:13)

DEVELOP THEIR SPIRITUAL GIFTS, using them to glorify you and further your Kingdom here on earth (James 1:17)

KNOW THEY ARE LOVED AND ACCEPTED, valuing what you think of them above others’ opinions (1 John 4:16)

GUARD THEIR HEARTS AND THOUGHTS with diligence above all else (Proverbs 4:23)
