Rich History. Bright Future.

The story of this campus begins in 1972.

The leadership of Northwest Baptist Church recognized the need to provide families and students in North Miami with Christ-centered education. For 51 years, Northwest Christian Academy equipped and inspired thousands of students to pursue their callings with excellence, glorify God, and serve others. Northwest’s commitment to providing exceptional and affordable private education to families in South Florida led to a new partnership and a bright future as Northwest Christian Academy becomes Calvary Christian Academy North Miami.

  • Q: Why is CCA expanding to North Miami?

While it has been encouraging to see a recent rise in Christian school enrollment nationwide, many Christian schools have struggled to stay afloat financially. Northwest Baptist Church (NBC) has been navigating this challenge over the past decade with their ministry Northwest Christian Academy that has served the North Miami community for over 50 years.

After much prayer, consideration, and seeking God’s direction, an agreement has been finalized between CCA and Northwest Baptist Church to turn school operations over to CCA. We look forward to preserving Northwest Christian Academy’s rich legacy and continuing the great work that was started 50 years ago.
