Your Gift to CCA Helps Build the Future.
At Calvary Christian Academy, we are committed to boldly pursuing excellence spiritually, academically, and socially. As we dream and plan for the future, our dedication to educating tomorrow’s leaders for Christ is at the forefront of our vision. Your gift will build more than just a campus, a program, or an experience. Your gift will build a legacy for the future!
Twenty-five years ago, a group of leaders at
Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale envisioned a place where students could be educated and discipled spiritually, academically, and socially. That vision became Calvary Christian Academy because of the generosity of the people of God.
The fruits of their generosity surround us daily — from our $50 million state-of-the-art, four-story Upper School Building (“Discipleship Building”) to our $20 million Fine Arts Theatre and $5 million Calvary Fieldhouse, to the highest caliber of teachers, coaches, and offerings. Today, Calvary Christian Academy has grown into a network of campuses across South Florida, transforming thousands of lives.
CCA has graduated more than 2,000
alumni who have gone on to pursue meaningful lives as leaders in their communities. The power of a gift and the results it can have on society and His kingdom should not be underestimated!
Please prayerfully consider partnering with us to take the experience at CCA to even greater heights for the benefit of our students, who are tomorrow's leaders for Christ.

A Letter From Our Finance Director
At CCA, our commitment to excellence is deeply rooted in our history of community support.
From its inception, Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale and generous donors have played a pivotal role in establishing the campus, enabling it to grow from a small K-6 school to a thriving environment serving over 2,400 students on our Fort Lauderdale campus today.
This early financial support not only helped build our physical infrastructure, but also laid the groundwork for a school community focused on making disciples of Jesus Christ.
At CCA, our budgetary priorities are driven by our mission. The largest slice of our budget is dedicated to our faculty and staff. We’ve made significant strides recently in staff compensation, allowing us to attract and retain the best of the best!
Our faculty and staff are at the core of our success as a school, as they are on the front lines co-laboring with parents to disciple their children in Truth. Our investment in our staff extends to supporting their advanced education and ongoing training in their craft and faith.
Academic programs comprised of cutting-edge curriculum, technology, and resources account for the second largest budget item. Programs such as Advanced Placement (AP) and Dual Enrollment (DE), ESE services,
Project Lead The Way, and Spanish Immersion, provide our students with diverse learning opportunities that prepare them to reach their God-given potential.
I encourage you to
inquire about our Upper School course guides to learn more about the rich variety of courses and electives students have access to.
As we look to the future, we understand the importance of equipping our students to lead for Christ in an ever-changing world. For this reason, we are actively developing programs centered around the disciplines of law, entrepreneurship, and world languages, to name just a few.
Campus developments, such as the construction of the Upper School Building (Discipleship Building), the Scene Shop, and the Fieldhouse, were funded primarily by gifts from our inspiring CCA community.
This type of generosity allows us to maintain minimal debt, resulting in overall property expenses of just over 7% of our budget. These expenses primarily cover insurance, utilities, maintenance, and continuous facility improvements, ensuring our campus remains conducive to learning and growth.
Finally, we are forward-focused in our campus master planning. In addition to investing in our people and programs, we also are in a continual planning process focused on our plant (campus facilities). Supporting great teachers with great spaces is key to developing the optimum environment for growth.
Each year, we allocate 1-3% of the budget to campus enhancements. This has allowed us to remodel and renovate classrooms and hallways, and even instal new turf on the playground and Calvary Field. We also plan to allocate between 5-7% of our revenue for savings and strategic initiatives designed to support our students’ future development.
Looking ahead, we are committed to sustaining this legacy of stewardship and community support as we embark on over 25 years of disciple-making.
By stewarding our resources wisely, we aim to foster a thriving educational community where students not only thrive academically and socially, but most importantly, spiritually!
Joe Wilson, Executive Director of Operations and Strategic Initiatives
