Family Empowerment Scholarship For Students with Unique Abilities (Formerly Known as the Gardiner Scholarship) And all former McKay Scholarship recipients will now be switched to the FES-UA.
FES-UA - Family Empowerment Scholarship for Students with Unique Abilities (formerly known as the Gardiner Scholarship) is for students who are Florida residents Kindergarten through 12th grade in an eligible Florida private school or home education program who have been diagnosed with a specific disability, such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability, etc. To see a complete list of the disabilities and to learn more about this scholarship please visit

Students who attend CCA Fort Lauderdale who have a stated disability do not have an individual right to receive some or all of the special education and related services that the student would receive if enrolled in a public school under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), as amended.
NOTE: If your child is in Pre-K3 or Pre-K4, this scholarship cannot be used on our CCA campus for tuition or services. You may still use your scholarship for outside services. Please call the Business Office for further information.
