25 Prayers for 25 Years | Day 20 | Leadership Rooted in Prayer
In today’s devotional, CCA Hollywood’s Lower School Principal, Tarsis Martinez, continues our 25 Prayers for 25 Years series by encouraging us to use the powerful gift of prayer to cover the leaders of our school community.

Reflection:
Leadership in a school like CCA is a significant responsibility. The decisions made by our leadership team not only shape academic paths, but also spiritual formation, community culture, and the future impact for God’s Kingdom.
Our leaders depend on the Lord to faithfully carry out their calling, knowing that only through His guidance can they make the impact He desires. They don’t rely on their own wisdom but lean on God’s wisdom, which He generously gives to those who ask.
While the weight of leadership decisions can feel overwhelming, it’s through prayer and dependence on God’s wisdom that leaders find clarity and strength. In this way, leadership becomes not just a responsibility, but an opportunity to trust God more deeply.
As a community, our role is to surround our leaders in prayer, asking the Lord to fill them with discernment, courage, and endurance as they navigate the unique opportunities and challenges that come with running a Christian school.
As we celebrate all that God has done in CCA’s 25 years, we also look forward to what He will continue to do. May our leadership team be anchored in God’s truth, sensitive to His Spirit, and unified in purpose as they lead CCA into this next season.

Prayer:
Father, thank You for the leaders You’ve appointed to shepherd CCA. We ask that You pour out Your wisdom on them as they make decisions both great and small.
Give them discernment beyond their own understanding, unity in vision, and hearts that seek Your glory above all else. May they lead with humility, courage, and joy – always attuned to Your voice. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Tarsis Martinez has been a part of CCA Hollywood for six years and currently serves as the Lower School Principal. She loves serving the Lord with her husband, and her favorite Bible passage is Psalm 24.
