The lady Eagles came out with bats blazing by batting through the lineup and scoring 5 runs in the first inning against Cardinal Gibbons. As a team we got 12 hits lead by - Alexa Gonzalez, Ashlyn Marjama, Addison Mittauer who had 2 hits each! There was mound domination by Addison Mittauer with 5 strikeouts in 5 innings. The defensive play of the day started out looking like a juggle but ended up being the Mittauer Connection deflected from the pitcher to shortstop and fired over the first! Beautiful play!!! Final score CCA 13 - 3 Gibbons Please come out and see the hitting parade in tomorrow’s HOME match against Trinity Christian.
