Calvary Boys Lacrosse Makes Quick Work of District Opponent North Broward Prep

Adam Bond
Scoring twelve goals in the first twelve minutes of the game, Calvary Boys Lacrosse dispatched district rival North Broward Prep in short order last night, taking another step in the right direction as they prepare for this Friday night's big showdown with Pine Crest.

Freshman goalie Tyler Martinez recorded an 80% save percentage, letting in only one goal as the game ended with a win 16-1. Senior Noah Horne set up the offense with two goals and three assists, while scoring for the Eagles came from all over the field, including goals from senior Derek Krueger, senior Jackson Malouf, freshman Carter Combs, and senior Ernesto Ispir, in addition to three separate hat tricks from Tyler Asbate, Blayze Rodriguez and Killian Sullivan.

We're asking everyone to come out this Friday night at 7:00pm on Calvary Field to support the team as they face off against Pine Crest - biggest game of the year so far. See you out there - go Eagles!!
