Lady Eagles lost to USchool of NSU

Isabella Forcella
Lady Eagles lost to USchool of NSU for their only 2nd loss of the season bringing their record to 4-2.
Today our Girls Varsity Tennis team, unfortunately, lost to NSU. Our number 1, Kali Cafaro, lost 0-8, and number 2, Bella Forcella, lost 3-8. They both had adamant opponents, but they truly gave all they had in every point. Pleased to say these two girls remain undefeated in number 1 doubles, winning 8-5. They are on the road to winning districts, their bond and strength are improving immensely. Our number 3, Sophia Quintanilla lost 2-8, number 4, Anaya Edmead lost 2-8, and number 5, Brianna Tully, lost 1-8. Overall, our girls faced hard opponents today, but they did what they could, and I believe these losses will help strengthen them for the next matches to come. Our number 2 doubles, Sophia Quintanilla and Brianna Tully, did, however, take home a win. They fought through adversity, remained calm through every point, and did not let close games define their match. They took home an 8-6 win for the eagles.
