CCA Ice Hockey won its first Championship Tuesday in a victory over Spanish River. The win completed a sweep of the Bull Sharks. The Eagles salute seniors Michel Huyghe, Stephen Susanj, Domenic DePietto, Andrew Crossley, and Philip Hin for their contributions to CCA hockey. During the game, the Eagles fell behind 3-1 by the end of the 3rd period, but came back scoring 3 goals in the 3rd period for the victory. Goals came from Stephen Susanj, Michel Huyghe, Nico Snyder, and Atilla Szathmari. Assists came from Atilla Szathmari (2), Stephen Susanj, Domenic DePietto, and Nico Snyder. Goalie CJ Sehlke had a strong showing in the net making a number of amazing saves. High school students interested in joining the CCA Hockey team needs to contact Dr. Ozolnieks (matto@ccaeagles.org).
