Electrifying night for our Varsity Volleyball team
Leo Sousa
Last night was an electrifying night for our Varsity Volleyball team as they faced off against SJPII in their third match of the season!
Our incredible young ladies kicked things off a bit shy, but they quickly found their rhythm and clinched the first set with an exciting score of 25-22. In the second set, we faced a challenge, trailing 5-11, but Coach Leo rallied the team with a time-out that sparked our energy! When we returned to the court, we were on fire! With Reese Mittauer serving an incredible streak of more than 8 points in a row, we surged ahead and dominated the set, finishing strong at 25-15!
The momentum carried into the third set as our team adjusted beautifully, showcasing some fantastic plays to close out the match with a thrilling score of 25-21.
But the excitement doesn’t stop there! Today, we’re geared up and ready to take on Mater Academy Charter at 6 PM.
