Calvary Christian Academy Cyber Eagles Win Tournament Championship

It was an exciting day for the Calvary Christian Academy Robotics Club as Cyber Eagles team 77788j clinched the Miami Vex championship title.

Special congratulations to the 77788j squad—high school students Zach Champion, Luke Jewett, Matt Rice, RJ Chatellier, and Matthew Taylor.

The Robotics Club is an afterschool club at Calvary Christian Academy that encourages students to innovate and problem-solve like engineers and scientists. Students design, build, and program VEX robots to perform in state and national competitions. They’re rubbing shoulders with robotics teams from all over the state and sharing the love of Jesus through their integrity, kindness, and teamwork.

The tournament win put the CCA Robotics Club team 77788j in position to be invited to the RoboSLAM, the Florida State Championships in Tampa, and to the U.S. Open Robotics Championship in Council Bluffs, Iowa. As they continue their pursuit of a spot at the World Championship, we’re excited to see their innovations shine!
