As we approach our school wide capital campaign kick off, we are gathering stories of how key members of our community and staff are supporting Calvary Christian Academy in this effort! We would love to hear your family's story of why you Arise & Build!
Below are some to inspire you!

Why am I giving to the vision to build the Field House and the Scene Shop? Well, I guess I have these reasons:
I'll start with Genesis 28:17. Here, Jacob expresses his amazement that he is standing precisely where God showed Himself in a vision. In his exuberance, he proclaims, “How awesome is this place! This is none other than the House of God, and this is the gate of heaven!” Because of the intensity of this revelation, that place would now be forever known as Bethel, the house of God. After nearly 20 years of serving here at CCA, I stand in similar amazement of this place, where I have seen God show up time and again to save, redeem, comfort, encourage, and bless His children. This is also truly a Bethel.
Since we serve here at the House of God here on earth, I will continue with John 14:2. Speaking of God's house more precisely, Jesus says that, “In My Father's house are many rooms” (ESV). These 'many rooms' are the places where we can meet with God. So when I hear there is a need for more rooms where we can make disciples, that blesses me since it means that God is filling His house with enough students to require more rooms.
A third reason I am giving towards this cause is that I can. It is not lost on me that my ability to give comes straight from God. So, I am happy to give back.
Finally, the determining factor on whether to give, and then how much to give, comes from a simple point of fact that Paul provides, which is that our God loves a cheerful giver. Not everyone is currently in a position to be a cheerful giver. But some are. To them, Paul writes, “He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or out of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver” – 2Corinthians 9:6,7 (NKJV).
So, I want to be a part. I am cheerful in doing the part that I am doing. That all adds up to giving and doing so with a cheerful heart, knowing that God gets glory through it all.

CCA became my home when I began teaching here in the year 2000. Anytime that I have an opportunity to improve my home I jump at the chance. By contributing to the Fieldhouse Fund I am making my home a better place.
I also feel that CCA is my family. I have a responsibility to take care of the children that God has put in my classes over the past years. I am thrilled to play a small part in the future impact of the CCA Fieldhouse.
My own children were grown and out of school when CCA opened. They played sports and raised the money needed by car washes and standing outside of Publix.
Isn't it wonderful that at CCA we are able to support our kids in a way that has eternal value.
