Today marked an electrifying moment for our varsity volleyball team as they returned to the court to face Cardinal Gibbons in the district quarter-finals! Our last encounter with Gibbons during the regular season was tough, with too many mistakes costing us the game in four sets. But today, our team was fired up and resilient. Despite some early service errors, we clinched the first set in a nail-biting 27-25 victory. The second set was a fierce battle—intense and exhilarating—our girls fought hard and secured it 25-23. In the third set, Gibbons fought back, and our team momentarily let their guard down, dropping that set 19-25. But in the decisive fourth set, our young ladies showed their true strength—playing flawlessly together, stepping up their game, and smashing Gibbons with a commanding 25-17 victory, winning the match in four thrilling sets!
Now, we're moving forward with unstoppable momentum. Tomorrow, we face the #1 seed on their home court.
Come to Support our incredible team on Tuesday, October 14th, at 5:00pm at PineCrest School. Let's cheer them on as they chase victory!
