Eagles display strong showing in City of Fort Lauderdale Meet

Calvary competed Wednesday against some of the fastest and strongest talent in Broward County. The boys placed 4th overall and the girls placed 5th.

The boys team was led by Jack Garey and Kennedy Sauder, who placed 1st in the Javelin, Triple and High Jumps respectively. The boys 4x400m relay (Ty Noble; Daniel Hubner; Reggie Heywood; Caleb Ulysee) ran a season best 3:34, good enough for 3rd place overall in the event.

On the girls’ side, Kaylah Byrd tools 1st in the Triple Jump. The girls 4x400m relay team (Markeli Tynes Jones; Johanna Velez; Simone Eloi; Kristen Kloman) also closed out the meet with a season best time, beating the previous mark by five seconds.
