Melissa Hogu
Your CCA Lady Eagles sent the Bears into hibernation after a HUGE 18 to 4 win!!! The fans had to open up their umbrellas because it was raining HITS!!!  CCA had 16 hits which was led by Reese the mound Beast who went 4 for 5, Alexa Gonzalez, who was a home-run short of the cycle who managed to bring in 5 RBIs, and Braelyn HITTauer with maximum productivity brought in 4 RBI’s with two hits!  Mia Cartegena and Taylor Alberti had significant contributions at the plate! Twice the Bears were tamed by the dynamic double play duo, Alexa to Braelyn and then Brae to Alexa. Wow! And it only gets better!! Addison Mittauer came up flashing the leather with a diving catch at 2nd base. Oh, oh, oh Reesyyy….pitch that ball! And that she did! Reese the mound Beast continued to punish the bears at the plate with 7 strikeouts in 6 innings. DISTRICTS!!!! This is when the pedal hits the metal!!! Let’s go!!!
