VEX® IQ allows campers to build complex robots with motors, advanced gears and systems, sensors, and increased controllability. Additionally, students can construct bigger, more complex robots.
VEXIQ uses a vertical program language that is similar to Scratch and Robot C. They use programs that are similar to the high school and college robotics teams across the nation! Campers will develop strong building and problem-solving skills with hands on experience in teamwork, gear ratio, and more.
Campers will use SnapCAD for designing virtual VEX IQ models and creating printable, shareable instructions for them. They will use SnapCAD to test out ideas in the virtual world before building it physically, or to share their creations with the world in the form of step-by-step build instructions!
Each day during science camp, campers will enjoy 5 hours of instructor-led hands-on SCIENCE and STEM activities. Instruction time will happen from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
