• The Varsity Boys Soccer Team falls to NSU 3-2 in the District Semi-Finals

  The Eagles lost 3-2 in the 3A District 13 Semi-final soccer match with NSU University School.  CCA was down 2-1 at halftime and battled back with a goal in the 70th minute.  The Eagles Goals were both scored by Salomon Tovar (19th minute and 70th minute) Assists were from Christian Buitrago and Marcelo Jones.

• The Varsity Boys Soccer Team Defeats Coral Springs Charter

  1/23/2025
  The Varsity Boys soccer team defeated Coral Springs Charter 3-0  in the Quarter Finals of the District Tournament. CCA's Goals were scored by Kyle Marsan, Christian Buitrago, and Andres Ortiz.  Assists were from Christian Buitrago and Salomon Tovar. 
  Outstanding goal keeping by Santi Fuentes  who posted a shut out.
  The Eagles move on to the District Semi finals where we will take on the #1 seed NSU University School. The Semi finals will be Tuesday at 7 PM here at Calvary. CCA improved their record to 9-5-1 on the season.

• Varsity Boys Soccer Team ties King's Academy

  1/17/2025
  In their final regular season soccer game, the Varsity Boys soccer team tied King's Academy 4-4. The boys played in heavy rain the entire night.   CCA's goals were scored by Brandon Bent, Yohan-Li Louis and two goals by Kyle Marsan. Yohan-Li Louis also picked up an assist in the game.
  The Eagles await the upcoming district tournament which will be played at Calvary field.

  The Varsity Boys Soccer team defeated Westminster Academy 6-0 on Senior night in the final regular season home game of the year. Goals were scored by Christian Buitrago, Andres Ortiz, Brandon Bent, Ian Braswell, and two goals by Samir Bloise. Assists were from Christian Buitrago, Kyle Marsan, and two from Brandon Bent.
  CCA will be in action again on Friday night at 7 PM against a tough Kings Academy team who is first place in their District.

• The Varsity Boys Soccer team loses to Westminster of Miami 2-0

  The Varsity Boys Soccer Team lost to Westminster Christian of Miami 2-0 on Tuesday night.
  The game was tied 0-0 at halftime, but the Eagles gave up two late goals in the game (78th minute and 79th minute) CCA falls to 7-5 on the season.  The Eagles will be back in action this Thursday night for Senior night as they will play their last home game of the regular season. 
  Come join us as the Parent to parent group will be holding a Tailgating party from 6pm -7 pm in the East End Zone parking lot. All CCA families are invited!

  On Tuesday night, the Varsity Boys Soccer team lost a close game to district rival University school 4-3. Calvary was leading at halftime 3-1, before giving up 3 unanswered second half goals. The Eagles goals were scored by Salomon Tovar and two goals by Team Captain Christian Buitrago.  Assists were from Gabe Arce and two by Brandon Bent.  University school is ranked 3rd in the Region and 25th in the state of Florida. A great effort by the Eagles who came up short in this close game.

  The Varsity Boys Soccer team lost 2-1 to Cardinal Gibbons on Tuesday night. CCA's lone goal was score by Kyle Marsan on a Penalty Kick. The Eagles will resume their season on January 7th against NSU in an important district game.

  The Varsity Boys Soccer Team defeated Somerset Canyons 2-0 Thursday night.  CCA's goals were scored by Salomon Tovar and Emilio Barajas. Assists were from Kyle Marsan and Gabe Arce.
  The Eagles have won their last six games and the last three were shutouts. Outstanding goalkeeping by Samir Bloise for his second clean sheet.
  The Eagles will play at Cardinal Gibbons on Tuesday at 7 pm for the final game of 2024.

  On Tuesday afternoon, The Varsity Boys Soccer Team defeated FAU 3-0.   FAU was previously undefeated in their last six games.  CCA's goals were scored by Salomon Tovar, Kyle Marsan, and Emilio Barajas.  Assists were from Salomon Tovar and Brandon Bent.  
  The Player of the Game was awarded to GoalKeeper Samir Bloise who recorded his first shutout of the year.
  The Eagles will be on the road again this Thursday to take on Somerset Canyons at 7pm.
  
  CCA's record is now 6-2 on the year.

  12/5/2024
  The Varsity Boys Soccer Team were dominate in their home win against Somerset North Lauderdale 6-0.  The Eagles led 3-0 at half time and scored another three goals in the second half.
  CCA's goals were scored by Team Captains Kyle Marsan and Christian Buitrago. Other goals were scored by Xavi Lopez, Yohan-Li Louis, Emilio Barajas, and Andres Ortiz. Goals were assisted by Ian Braswell and Andres Ortiz, & Kyle Marsan had two assists each. CCA is currently on a four-game winning streak.
  
  The Eagles will play at FAU on Tuesday at 3:30 PM and on Thursday at Somerset Canyons.
