  • Eagles finish regular season with 5th straight win

    The CCA Eagles Finish the Regular Season on Fire!
    The CCA Middle School Girls Volleyball Team finished the regular season with a winning record (5–4), sweeping their last five matches in a row and not dropping a single set—an incredible turnaround after starting the season 0–4.
    The Eagles Down Boca Pine Crest in Two Straight Sets
    The Eagles capped off their season in style yesterday, downing Boca Pine Crest in two straight sets and pressuring their opponent with an aggressive serving barrage led by Claudia Viana, Brady Kanell, Camilla Cinti, and Kloe Nogueira.
    The team played scrappy defense, picking up balls all over the court thanks to the relentless hustle of Brenda Tinoco, Lindsey Keller, and Claudia Viana, who also dominated at the net with a mix of powerful hits and well-placed tips.
    Steady ball control from the back row—anchored by libero Brady Kanell and defensive specialists Gabby Bird and Camryn Ahlbum—kept the Eagles in rhythm throughout the match. Sarah Melendez and Camilla Cinti ran the offense with poise, tallying numerous assists through pinpoint setting.
    Congratulations to the girls for an incredible finish to the season!

    The Lady Eagles captured their fourth straight victory with a dominant sweep over St. Joan of Arc. At the net, Claudia Viana powered the offense with 8 kills, while Lindsey Keller added 4 strong finishes. From the service line, Sarah Melendez led the charge with 12 service points, followed by Viana with 5 and Brady Kanell with 3. It was another complete team effort that showcased both offensive firepower and serving consistency.

    Eagles Soar to Third Straight Win with Another Sweep
    The Lady Eagles kept their winning streak alive, capturing their third consecutive victory with a two-game sweep. Their serving attack was once again dominant, as Sarah Melendez led with 10 service aces. Claudia Viana added 4 service points and 3 kills, while Maddie Dorlus chipped in 3 aces and 2 kills to round out the offense.
    On defense, libero Brady Kanell showed consistent ball control, delivering on-point passes to the setters that set up the hitters for success at the net. With serving firepower, steady defense, and sharp teamwork, the Eagles continue to build momentum heading into their next matchup.

    Lady Eagles Sweep American Heritage Delray
    The Middle School Lady Eagles earned their second victory of the season with a commanding sweep over American Heritage Delray, 25–12, 25–10.
    The Eagles showcased an aggressive serving attack, highlighted by Claudia Viana’s 7 service points and Sarah Melendez’s 4 service points. At the net, Brenda Tinoco powered the offense with 6 kills and 2 blocks, while Camryn Ahlbum provided steady defensive play with several key digs in the back row.
    The Lady Eagles return to action tomorrow at home against North Broward Prep.

    Middle School A Team Battles to a Three-Set Win

    Our A Team pulled out an exciting win yesterday in a match that went the distance! After splitting the first two sets, the girls showed grit and determination to finish strong and take the third set. It was a great team effort, with energy and focus carrying us through to the end.
    Key Performers:
    Sarah Melendez – the voice on the court, directing the offense, serving well, and delivering strong outside hitting
    Camila Cinti – steady leadership as both setter and outside hitter, with strong serving and all-around play
    Claudia Viana – reliable at right side, steady at the net, and consistent from the service line

  • Eagles come out strong, edged again in battle

  • Eagles battle but are edged by Scots

    CCA Eagles Volleyball Update
    Yesterday our CCA Middle School Volleyball team traveled to face St. Andrew’s Scots. The Eagles came out strong, winning the first set with confident serving and steady play. The Scots battled back to take the second, and despite a great fight in a very close third set, St. Andrew’s pulled out the win.
    Even though the scoreboard didn’t go our way, there were many bright spots for the Eagles:
    • Sarah Melendez scored several service points and did an excellent job running the offense with her setting.
    • Maddie Dorlus served consistently and kept the Scots on their heels.
    • Gabbi Bird anchored the back row with strong passing and outstanding defense.
    The team continues to grow each match, showing heart and determination. Though our record sits at 0–3, the progress is clear, and yesterday’s performance showed that our first win is on the horizon.
    Come cheer on the Eagles tomorrow at 4:00 PM as we host Spanish River Christian at home. Let’s pack the gym and support our girls as they keep fighting and improving!

  • Middle School A Team Shows Fight in Competitive Match

    Our A Team battled hard in yesterday’s match! The first set was exciting from start to finish—we came out strong, led most of the way, and kept the energy high before falling just short, 25–19. The second set started a little slower, and we couldn’t quite find our rhythm, dropping it 25–10.
    Player Highlights:
    Brady Kanell – great serving and smart setting
    Camila Cintri – steady at libero with strong serves and solid passing
    Claudia Viani & Lindsey Keller – brought power at the net with some great hitting
    It was a fun, competitive match, and we’re proud of the way our team is growing each game!
    Next Up: We’re back in action tomorrow at Pinecrest in Fort Lauderdale—come out and cheer on the team!
